About SRRA

Who are we?
The Sherwood Rise Residents’ Association (SRRA) was formed in 2000. It has previously been known as the Hedley Park Residents’ Association, but changed its name to reflect the involvement of residents from the wider area. Members of the SRRA have been actively campaigning on a number of issues effecting local people and the area for a number of years.

Sherwood Rise is very much a part of Nottingham’s inner city environment, with all the diversity that brings. The formation of the SRRA has started to raise the profile of the area.

Area boundaries
Sherwood Rise falls between Forest Fields and New Basford. The defined boundary is complex and has been based on its history and how residents who took part in the mapping exercise (2001) see and use the area at present.

Broadly speaking the boundaries follow the Sherwood Rise road including Beech Avenue and its environs.
